Monomad: Fail and try again [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

Something that really stands out to me when I try to take photos at the skatepark is the determination with which they keep trying the tricks over and over again; they might fail, but they keep trying as many times as it takes until they land the trick, and that’s what I want to share today through these photos.

Algo llamativo desde mi perspectiva cuando intento hacer fotografías en el skatepark es la determinación con la que intentan una y otra vez los trucos; pueden fallar e intentan las veces que sean necesarias hasta que el truco salga y es lo que quiero compartir el día de hoy con estas fotografías.

If you find yourself somewhere where there are people on skateboards doing stunts, you might notice how they try trick after trick, and if one fails, they try again; it’s like their own way of reaching their goal, seeing what mistakes they’re making, and trying again until things work out.

Si te encuentras en algún lugar donde haya personas con patinetas haciendo acrobacias, podrías notar cómo intentan truco tras truco y, si alguno falla, lo intentan nuevamente; es como su propia manera de alcanzar la meta, ver qué errores están cometiendo y volver a hacerlo para que las cosas funcionen

Personally, I think that philosophy of life is wonderful, because that’s what everything is based on, and seeing it from a black and white perspective in these photos makes the final result even more impactful, or at least that’s how it seems to me, and I suppose that’s why I really enjoy this kind of photo.

Personalmente, me parece estupenda esa filosofía de vida, porque en eso se basa todo y verlo desde una perspectiva en estas fotografías desde el blanco y negro hace que el resultado final tenga incluso más impacto o al menos a mí me lo parece y supongo que por eso disfruto mucho de este tipo de fotos.
