Monomad: Capture the moment [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

Greetings, dear friends in the community and lovers of black and white photography, I hope you’re all doing great today. Since you liked the previous photos of people on bicycles, today I’m sharing some new ones, and I hope you like these as well.

Saludos, queridos amigos de la comunidad y amantes de la fotografía en blanco y negro, espero que se encuentren genial el día de hoy. En vista de que las anteriores fotos de personas en bicicletas les gustaron, hoy les comparto unas nuevas fotografías y espero que les gusten también.

It’s pretty tricky to try to freeze time in moments like these for a photo, waiting for the right moment, knowing exactly when to press the shutter button and take the shot, but if you pay close attention, you can get a sense of it, especially if you anticipate a couple of seconds in advance where they’re heading; that way, you can get a better focus, too.

Es bastante complicado intentar congelar el tiempo en momentos así para una foto, esperar el momento adecuado, saber cuándo es el segundo en el que debes presionar el botón y sacar la foto, pero cuando estás atento puedes hacerte una idea y más si visualizas un par de segundos antes hacia dónde se dirigen; así puedes hacer un mejor enfoque también.

Since I took these photos in the afternoon, the sun was more visible in some areas than others, so there were also some dark spots. Taking advantage of the subject’s white shirt, which provided excellent contrast, I felt that black and white was the best choice for these photos.

Como hice estas fotografías en la tarde, el sol en ciertos puntos se apreciaba más que en otros, por lo que también había zonas oscuras y, aprovechando la franela blanca del protagonista, que conseguía hacer un excelente contraste, me pareció que el blanco y negro era lo mejor para estas fotografías.
