Hello friends, how's it going?

A few years ago, I had a photography teacher who constantly bombarded me with the phrase: Photographs have to convey a message, and he repeated it to me over and over again, practically ad nauseam. That made an impression on me, to the point that at one point it caused me a lot of stress. It wasn't until much later that I understood, or rather came to my own conclusion, that although my teacher's teaching was true, my first goal was to enjoy the process of taking the photo, to have fun, to experiment, and to socialize with other people. Of course, this would result in an image that spoke for itself. I don't disagree with my teacher, but everything, in my own way, is my personal opinion. Today's series is the result of these questions. I took these photos because I liked them at the time without thinking conceptually, although later I realized that they inevitably carried a message. What message? Perhaps some complaints I have inside me...

A friend told me, "Most of the photos only you understand, since only you know what you meant." Maybe so, but there are also concepts that are more universal and transcend borders, and those are included as well. In addition, each person interprets them based on their own beliefs. Wow, I woke up feeling philosophical today. What I'm writing is probably just nonsense, but that's how I feel. I hope I haven't bored you 😉.

Saludos amigos, ¿cómo va todo?

Hace ya algunos años tuve un profesor de fotografía que constantemente me bombardeaba con la frase: Las fotografías tienen que transmitir un mensaje, y mira que me lo repetía, hasta el cansancio prácticamente. Aquello hizo mella en mí, al punto que me llevó en cierto momento a estresarme demasiado. No fue hasta después de mucho tiempo que entendí o más bien saqué mi propia conclusión, que aunque no dejaba de ser cierta la enseñanza del profe mi primer objetivo era disfrutar del proceso de hacer la foto, pasarlo bien, experimentar y socializar con las demás personas, claro está que esto daría fruto en una imagen que hablara por sí sola. No le quito la razón al profesor, pero todo, a su medida, es mi opinión personal. La serie de hoy es fruto de estas interrogantes. Las hice porque me gustaron en ese momento sin pensar de forma conceptual, aunque después comprendí que irremediablemente llevaban un mensaje en ellas, ¿cuál? Tal vez algunas quejas que llevo dentro...

Aquí se las comparto.

Un amigo me decía, es que la mayoría de las fotos solo las entiendes tú, ya que solo tú sabes lo que quiste decir, ¡puede ser!, pero también hay conceptos que son más universales y traspasan fronteras, también esos van incluidos, además que cada quién hace una interpretación basado en sus propias creencias. Wow, hoy amanecí de filósofo, va y esto que escribo son un poco de tonterías mías, pero al fin así me siento, espero no haberlos aburrido 😉.
