The city, time and a moment. / Monomad Challenge [Eng/Esp]

Greetings, dear friends of #blackandwhite

It's been really cold lately, colder than I'm used to, and at times like this, everything seems to turn gray. Going out to take photos is tricky, especially since I almost always go to places near the coast, where the wind blows hard. Even so, I can't stay home when there's so much to explore and so many stories waiting to be told.

At least the sky becomes interesting and offers the opportunity to play with composition and atmospheres.

The elderly who live on the streets are the most vulnerable, those who suffer most from the effects of the cold.

The streets, which are normally crowded with people, become strangely empty in this weather.

And stray dogs are also victims of these conditions, many without a safe shelter to protect themselves.

Even in the midst of the cold, there are always stories to tell and images that are there, waiting to be seen. Today, I am pleased to share some of them with you.

And to think that I would love to experience snow... and with this cold weather I'm already complaining! 😅 Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the pictures, and if you come to Havana, wrap up warm.

Saludos, amigos queridos de #blackandwhite

Recientemente han sido días muy fríos, más de lo que estoy acostumbrado, y en momentos así todo parece volverse gris. Salir a la calle a hacer fotos se complica, sobre todo porque casi siempre me muevo por zonas cercanas a la costa, donde el viento golpea con fuerza. Aun así, me resulta imposible quedarme en casa cuando hay tanto por explorar y tantas historias esperando ser contadas.

Al menos el cielo se vuelve interesante y ofrece la oportunidad de jugar con la composición y las atmósferas.

Los ancianos que viven en la calle son los más vulnerables, los que más sufren los efectos del frío.

Las calles, que normalmente están llenas de gente, con este clima se vuelven extrañamente vacías.

Y los perritos callejeros también son víctimas de estas condiciones, muchos sin un refugio seguro donde protegerse.

Incluso en medio del frío, siempre hay historias que contar e imágenes que están ahí, esperando ser miradas. Hoy me complace compartir algunas de ellas con ustedes.

Y pensar que me encantaría conocer la nieve… ¡y con este frío ya me estoy quejando! 😅 En fin, espero que hayan disfrutado las imágenes, y si vienen a La Habana, abríguense bien.
