Hello friends of the #blackandwhite community, how's everything going?

To be honest, writing has never been my strong suit. I find it quite difficult to find inspiration, and when it finally comes, it slips away as if by magic. Sometimes I feel like it's almost an ordeal. But over time I've discovered that daily practice is the best teacher, and sharing my experiences here in the community has become essential for me.

A friend always jokes that I have a serious addiction to photography, and I think he's right. In another life, I must have had something to do with this, because there's no way I can let go of it for even a minute. I walk down the street and I'm always looking at possible photos: "what beautiful light," "look at that shadow." The downside is that sometimes I get so disconnected that I forget about the person I'm with. It doesn't happen all the time, but it happens more than I'd like.

I pay close attention to details, especially hands, perhaps because they say so much and are very conceptual.

I love portraits, although I've always been a little afraid of approaching people. That said, lately I've been pushing myself more and taking firm steps to overcome that fear.

Dogs are another of my favorite subjects. Wherever I see them, I go there with my camera.

And lately, something curious has been happening to me: children tend to be more open to having their picture taken than adults, at least in my experience.

I recently ran into some gentlemen who didn't look very friendly. I wouldn't have dreamed of asking them for a photo... but in the end, I decided to do it. And to my surprise, they were happy about it.

Hola amigos de la comunidad #blackandwhite, ¿cómo va todo?

La verdad, escribir nunca ha sido mi fuerte. Me cuesta bastante encontrar inspiración y, cuando finalmente llega, se me escapa enseguida como por arte de magia. A veces siento que es casi un calvario. Pero con el tiempo he descubierto que en la práctica diaria está el mejor maestro, y compartir mis experiencias aquí en la comunidad se ha vuelto algo esencial para mí.

Un amigo siempre me dice en broma que tengo un vicio tremendo con la fotografía, y creo que no anda equivocado. En otra vida seguro que tuve que ver con esto, porque no hay manera de que lo suelte ni un minuto. Camino por la calle y todo el tiempo estoy viendo posibles fotos: “qué linda esa luz”, “mira esa sombra”. Lo malo es que a veces me desconecto tanto que me olvido de la persona que va conmigo. No me pasa siempre, pero sí más de lo que quisiera.

Me fijo mucho en los detalles, sobre todo en las manos, tal vez porque dicen tanto y son muy conceptuales.

Los retratos me encantan, aunque siempre he tenido un poco de miedo a acercarme a la gente. Eso sí, últimamente me estoy lanzando más y dando pasos firmes para vencer ese temor.

Los perros son otro de mis objetivos favoritos. Donde los vea, allá voy con la cámara.

Y últimamente me pasa algo curioso: los niños suelen mostrarse más abiertos a dejarse fotografiar que los adultos, al menos en mi experiencia.

Hace poco me topé con unos señores que tenían cara de pocos amigos. Ni loco pensé en pedirles una foto… pero al final me decidí. Y para mi sorpresa, se alegraron y todo.

En fin, estas son solo algunas experiencias personales que quería compartir hoy. Si de alguna manera pueden servirles o inspirarlos, me doy por satisfecho. Gracias por pasar por aquí, y si me dejan algún comentario, con gusto lo respondo.
