Chronicles of a Street Photographer, (Nephew) Day 12/ Monomad Challenge [Eng/Esp]

Greetings, friends of #blackandwhite—have a great start to the week! These past few days have been very fruitful, photographically speaking, partly because I’ve made a point of keeping a positive mindset and not letting stress get the better of me, and also because I’ve had an adventure partner: my nephew. Walking around the city just gets more tedious; but with Wisin, I’m more eager to see what I’ll find, and he, with his happy child’s intuition, lights my way. The photos below are the result of these walks.

Saludos, amigos de #blackandwhite, ¡feliz inicio de semana! Estos días pasados han sido muy provechosos, fotográficamente, en parte por la disposición de tener una mente positiva y no dejarme vencer por el estrés y por tener además a un compañero de aventuras, mi sobrino. Solo se hace más tedioso el caminar por la ciudad; ya con Wisin estoy más a la expectativa de lo que voy a encontrar y él, con su intuición de niño feliz, me alumbra. Estas fotografías a continuación son resultado de estas caminatas.

Although, to tell the truth, sometimes I thought it wasn’t worth it to have Wisin as my assistant because he eats so much, all the time. “Uncle, I’m hungry!” I’m trying to take photos and he’s got a stomach like a bottomless pit.

Aunque, para decir la verdad, a veces creí que no me da negocio tener de ayudante a Wisin porque come mucho, a cada rato. "Tío, ¡tengo hambre!". Yo tratando de hacer fotos y él con la barriga como un pozo sin fondo.

Plus, he already wants me to give him a camera so he can take photos too—as if I’d say no.

Además, ya quiere que le regale una cámara, para él también hacer fotos, no faltaba más.

Still, I’m grateful because who knows—maybe he’ll decide to pursue the world of photography. For now, it’s all an adventure for him, and I’m happy to be a part of it. And that’s all for today—thank you so much for everything, and see you soon!!!
