ut on a brave face" was my grandfather’s favorite saying. He’d repeat it over and over whenever the absurdities of daily life came to light.

The Magic of a Smile / La magia de una sonrisa

I think we Cubans have become quite skilled at that philosophy. At least it works for me. If I’m taking a photo and someone gives me a negative or suspicious look, I just smile… and, as if by magic, everything changes.
Creo que los cubanos nos hemos especializado bastante en esa filosofía. Por lo menos a mí me funciona. Si estoy haciendo alguna fotografía y alguien me lanza una mirada negativa o de sospecha, entonces sonrío… y, como por arte de magia, todo cambia.

No hay mal que dure cien años, jjjj me encanta esa frase y es muy real, pero la que escogiste es muy buena también porque nos ayuda a seguir a pesar de todas las trabas.
