Monomad: Downtown Calgary Building Demolition

Out with the old, in with the new—at least that's what real estate developers like to hear. Although I must admit it is fascinating to watch an old building being torn down bit by bit. Seeing this inside that you never saw before, wondering what it was like to walk around inside this structure. The crunching and banging and clawing of a building coming down. When I was passing by here, I didn't quite remember what they were tearing down, and I was around here for different reasons, but I couldn't help but stop and be fascinated for about 20 minutes of the day.
