Monomad: Downtown Calgary Alberta Skyscrapers and Towers

Cloud cover and monochrome add a really appealing level of contrast to these types of images. The lines and reflections along with all the details along the way gives the eye much to look over in these images. Being able to make photography look more dramatic is a great tool to help a composition appear to be more eye catching. Clouds and other elements that create almost a battle between the darker and lighter tones in the image can be exploited in editing. Experimenting with different types of edits lets anyone expand their portfolio using their existing work so it can be something to revisit color photos from ones library to see how they might look in a different style.
