Monomad: Alberta Prairie and Highway

There are so many great picturesque views out on the Alberta prairies. It was a rainy day, so I had a feeling that I was going to be able to get some shots that would look great in monochrome. Everything feels so big, and the landscapes feel so open, so it's not hard to find visual appeal anywhere you look. Everyday views can easily be overlooked, but I think through a photographer's eyes it's like being a kid in a candy store whenever I get to leave the confines of the city.
