Venezuelan Cityscape - Monomad Challenge.
Something I've learned recently in the world of photography is how to differentiate between 'cityscape' and 'street photography'. Although the creation of both can be similar, they are actually quite different.
Algo que aprendí hace poco dentro del mundo de la fotografia es saber diferencia el termino "Cityscape" y "street photography" y aunque la creacion de ambas puede ser similar, son realmente diferentes.
Cityscape focuses on architecture, urban landscapes, and panoramic views of the city. Buildings, bridges, skyscrapers, and public spaces are the main protagonists of these photographs.
El cityscape se centra en la arquitectura, los paisajes urbanos y las vistas panorámicas de la ciudad. Los edificios, los puentes, los rascacielos y los espacios públicos son los protagonistas principales de estas fotografías.
Street photography focuses on everyday life and human interactions on the streets. Photographers capture spontaneous moments, gestures, expressions, and situations that reveal the personality and culture of a city.
And although the previous and following photos have people in them, the photo itself is not about the people but about the city, which is inevitably full of people.
La street photography se centra en la vida cotidiana y las interacciones humanas en las calles. Los fotógrafos capturan momentos espontáneos, gestos, expresiones y situaciones que revelan la personalidad y la cultura de una ciudad.
Y aunque la fotografia anterior y la siguiente tengan personas en ella, la fotografia en sì no se trata sobre las personas si no sobre la ciudad, que inevitablemente está llena de personas.
After studying and learning to differentiate between these two terms, I set out to create a series of photos about the cityscape of my city to share it with you. For some photographs, I waited for a few minutes for there to be no people in the scene and thus take the cityscape photo as cleanly as possible.
Y tras estudiar y aprender a diferenciar ambos terminos me propuse hacer una serie de fotos sobre el paisaje urbano de mi ciudad y poder asì compartirlo con ustedes, para algunas fotografias esperé durante algunos minutos que no hubieran personas en la escena y asi hacer la foto del paisaje urbano de la manera mas limpia posible.
The following two photos do have people in them, but they are not the protagonists. Besides, I like how they make the city look more alive.
Las siguientes dos fotos si que tienen personas pero no son las protagonistas, ademas me gusta como hacen que la ciudad se vea mas viva.

The cityscapes are nice, what I really love are those HUGE trees everywhere!
I loved that too, this city is surrounded of a lot nature!
