Birthday studio portraits for 50 years old - Monomad Challenge.
Today, I want to share a set of birthday photographs I took in my studio for a woman who hired my services because she will soon turn 50 years old and wanted to create a beautiful memory of this important stage in her life.
She told me that she wanted a style of photography that was quite sober but at the same time professional, very clean, and elegant. So, for that, we only used some flowers as an accessory, and she wore a dress that looked very beautiful on her.
We started with a couple of photographs with the birthday woman seated to make her feel more comfortable:
Hoy les quiero compartir un set de fotografias de cumpleaños que hice en mi estudio para una mujer que contrató mis servicios porque pronto cumplirá 50 años de edad y queria dejar un bonito recuerdo de esta etapa tan importante en su vida.
Ella me dijo que queria un estilo de foto bastante sobrio pero a la vez profesional, muy limpio y elegante, asi que para eso solo usamos unas flores como accesorio y ella usó un vestido que le quedaba muy bonito.
Empezamos por un par de fotos con la cumpleañera sentada para hacerla sentir mas comoda:
And then we took a medium shot, standing photography:
Y luego hicimos una foto de pie en plano mediano:
And to finish the first part of the photography session, we took a photography with the woman sitting on the floor. This photography was one of our favorites:
Y para terminar la primera parte de la sesion de fotos, hicimos una foto con la mujer sentada en el suelo, esta foto fue una de nuestras favoritas:
At this point, the woman changed her clothes for the second part of the photography session, here looking for a more formal and elegant look. We started with some full body photographs:
En este punto la mujer se cambió de ropa para hacer la segunda parte de la sesion de fotos, aqui buscando un aspecto mas formal y elegante, empezamos por algunas fotos a cuerpo completo:
And then a little closer, always changing the poses:
Y luego un poco mas cerca, siempre cambiando las poses:
And I also took a close up photography:

Then we took a seated photography:
Luego hicimos una sentada:
Next, I put a different cube on the set to have variety in the photographs. In these photographs, we wanted to focus the attention on the face:
Luego puse otro cubo diferente en el set para tener variedad en las fotografias, en estas fotos queriamos centrar la atencion en el rostro:
I took all the photographs with my Canon R8 camera, a 50mm f/2.8 lens, and two light sources.
At the end of the photography session, we were all super happy with the results. I hope you like them as much as we did!!
Todas las fotos las tomé con mi camara Canon R8, un lente 50mm a 2.8/f y dos puntos de luces.
Al final de la sesion de fotos todos quedamos super contentos con los resultados, espero que a ustedes les gusten tanto como a nosotros!!
