A Sharing in the Park

On this outing, I wanted to explore the contrast of textures and light in a natural setting, capturing images in the park. First, I was looking for a group of friends I was meeting up with for a New Year's celebration; once I found them, I set off to find the perfect spot for my photos for the #monomad challenge.

Un Compartir En El Parque

En este paseo quise experimentar el contraste de las texturas y luces en un ambiente natural, capturando imágenes en el parque. Primero estaba buscando un grupo de amigos con los que quedamos en encontrarnos para un compartir de fin de año; una vez que los ubiqué, me dispuse a caminar para buscar mis fotografías para el reto #monomad

To avoid straying too far from the surroundings, I looked for those images that we rarely pay attention to, and that's how I found some metal sculptures that have remained in this place over time and are part of the park's heritage, complementing the area's beautification in one way or another.

Para no alejarme mucho del entorno, busqué esas imágenes a las que muy poco les damos importancia y es así como encontré algunas esculturas metálicas, que han permanecido en el tiempo en este lugar y que son parte del patrimonio del parque y de una u otra forma complementan el embellecimiento del área.

That day the park was lush and green. In this photograph of the tree, I was struck by how its trunks extended to form another tree with long branches defying gravity, because it doesn't touch the ground and continues to grow for meters. Behind it, my companions were waiting for the others.

Ese día el parque mostraba un excelente verdor. En esta fotografía del árbol me llamó la atención cómo sus troncos se extendieron para formar otro árbol con largos ramales desafiando la gravedad, porque no toca el suelo y sigue expandiéndose a metros. Detrás de él, estaban mis compañeros en la espera de los demás.

From the moment I arrived, I felt enveloped in the atmosphere created by nature, breathing in the fresh air and eager to discover those details that appear in black and white photographs, reminding us of past moments in the same places, when our parents used to take us to the parks. But we also never cease to appreciate the beauty in the everyday.

Desde que llegué me sentí envuelta en esa atmósfera que genera la naturaleza, respirando aire puro y esperando descubrir esos detalles que se aprecian en las fotografías en blanco y negro que nos recuerdan momentos pasados en los mismos ambientes, cuando nuestros padres solían llevarnos a los parques. Pero que también no dejamos de apreciar la belleza en lo cotidiano.

For example, this same tree with the changing light of day; perhaps later its silhouette can give us a beautiful image for a painting in the solitude of the park, when the sun is already setting and the weather is changing.

Por ejemplo, este mismo árbol con los cambios de luces del día; quizás más tarde su silueta puede regalarnos una linda imagen para un cuadro en la soledad del parque, cuando ya el sol esté partiendo y el tiempo está cambiando.

After finishing my sharing, I returned home with great joy, satisfied to have seen my colleagues, and to have captured that natural beauty that always surrounds us and that sometimes appears in the simplest things.

Al concluir mi compartir regrese a casa con mucha alegría satisfecha de haber visto a mis compañeros, y de haber capturado esa belleza natural que siempre nos rodea y que algunas veces se presenta en lo más sencillo.
