Good evening and happy Sunday, friends! As always, I hope you’re all doing great and having a wonderful day. The photo shoot I want to share with you today is a birthday shoot that my friend Hanna—whose name comes from her homeland—did for herself. She’s turning 18, and she wrote to me saying she wanted to take some incredible photos—something different and very spring-like, kind of like her name. With that in mind, I sent her to talk to a designer friend of mine so he could make her a dress with a train, because when I thought of the word “spring-like,” I pictured everything in an open space, lots of trees, a lake, a gentle breeze—and so I was thinking of a spot along a tree-lined path by a lagoon in a residential neighborhood in my city. But she wanted to take the photos in a studio during peak hours; however, some issues came up that I’ll tell you about now. The important thing is that we were able to take the photos and achieve the results we’d dreamed of with these images. Here they are so you can visually appreciate what I’m describing to you in words. Here they are, friends.

Muy buenas noches y feliz domingo amigos, como siempre espero se encuentren de maravilla y estén pasando un grandioso día, la sesion fotográfica que quiero compartir con ustedes el día de hoy es una sesion de cumpleaños que realizó por y para mi amiga Hanna con nombre de su tierra, esta cumpliendo sus 18 años y me escribió para comentarme que quería hacer unas fotos increíbles, algo diferente y que fuesen muy primaverales algo así como su nombre, ya con eso en mi cabeza la mande a hablar con un amigo diseñador para que le hiciera un vestido con cola porque en mi mente lo de palabra "primaveral" me imagine todo en un espacio abierto, muchas árboles, lago, mucha brisa y así estuve pensando en un lugar y en un paseo de árboles y laguna que tiene una urbanización de mi ciudad pero ella quiso en estudio hacer las fotos en hora pico pero pasaron inconvenientes que ahora les contare, lo importante, es que pudimos realizar las fotos y tener un resultado soñado con estas fotografías, acá se las dejo para que visualmente puedan apreciar lo que con palabras les describo, acá de las dejo amigos.

And, my friends, the important thing is that I didn't let her down with the results, because when she saw the photos, she was literally blown away and thrilled—and for me, that's what it's all about. I also absolutely loved this shoot, and I hope you like it just as much.
