My day was absurdly busy, so much so that at 4:00 PM I still hadn't even had lunch, and it was only then that I had a little time to take a shower and eat a cheese sandwich and a cup of mint tea (I love those kinds of infusions, and the mint I grow in my own garden is definitely my favorite)... Then, after this late and light lunch, I decided to go out and take some photos to later crop into a square (1:1) format... Yes, I'm a pretty strange guy, and I admit it, and suddenly and for no reason I can think things like: "I'll go out and take street photos to crop them into squares"... And that's exactly what I did, and thanks to that I have these photos to share here on #Hive with you today!...

Mi día estuvo absurdamente ocupado, tanto que a las 4:00 PM aún no había siquiera almorzado y fue apenas a esa hora cuando tuve un poco de tiempo para darme un baño y comer un sándwich de queso y una taza de té de hierbabuena (amo ese tipo de infusiones, y la de hierbabuena que cosecho en mi propio jardín es mi favorita definitivamente)... Entonces, luego de este tardío y ligero almuerzo, decidí salir a las calles y hacer algunas fotos para luego recortarlas en formato cuadrado (1:1)... Sí, soy un tío bastante extraño y lo reconozco, y repentinamente y sin motivo alguno puedo pensar cosas como: "saldré a hacer fotos callejeras para recortarlas en cuadrados"... ¡Y justo eso fue lo que hice y gracias a eso tengo estas fotos para compartir aquí en #Hive hoy con ustedes!...

By the way, this is just the second Saturday after the terrible earthquake of last June 24th. The national government (or whatever that is that we have as a government) has decreed national mourning and therefore there is a dry law; something that makes this an atypical Saturday, since the bars are closed and the town is as taciturn and calm as a Monday afternoon. So my walk through the streets this day made me feel a little strange about it...

Por cierto, este es apenas el segundo sábado después del terrible terremoto del día 24 de junio pasado. El gobierno nacional (o lo que sea eso que tenemos como gobierno) ha decretado luto nacional y por lo tanto hay ley seca; algo que hace de este un día sábado atípico, pues los bares están cerrados y el pueblo está tan taciturno y calmado como una tarde de lunes. Así que mi recorrido por las calles este día me hizo sentir un poco extraño al respecto...
