MIRANDA AVENUE - (STREET PHOTOGRAPHY)

The Miranda Avenue of my town, Montalbán, clearly marks the boundary between what could be called the "old town" and the areas from which the town began to urbanize more recently, let's say from the 70s of the last century. So, this is a wider street with more recent constructions, and it is also where there are more businesses and even small private clinics, newer automotive workshops, a small hotel that goes almost unnoticed, funeral homes, and things like that...

In fact, until the mid-20th century, the lands crossed by this avenue, and all its streets to the east of it, belonged to a large hacienda with orange groves, then known as "Hacienda Araguíta." This somehow remains in the collective memory, as there are many inhabitants of the town who call it "Araguíta Avenue," although the official name that appears on maps and was officialized by the municipality is "Miranda Avenue." However, here it is common for a street to have an official name and, at the same time, a different one given by the town's inhabitants...

This sequence of photos that I am sharing today with you here on #Hive, I took casually and in a relaxed manner one morning, perhaps around 7:30 AM, at the beginning of this month of June. And then, already sitting in front of my PC processing and editing these images, I really liked how they turned out and the way they transmit what Miranda Avenue is like on any given day of the week during those early hours...

#3 and #4 were my faves in this series. how did you manage to get this 'hazy' light-grey background? I bet there was no mist, due to the hot weather (or I am completely wrong) ?.. curious.
