BACKYARDS, CATS WATCHING, DOGS SLEEPING... (PHOTOGRAPHY STORIES)

This is a town where not all the houses have perimeter walls; so, it's easy to peek somewhat indiscreetly into backyards. And I'm a pretty indiscreet guy; otherwise, I wouldn't take street photos. So it's not unusual to find me walking down the street looking into houses, sometimes through flimsy wire fences that enclose their space. And some of these photos are about that: what I see there. But I also included some of those "favorite protagonists" of my daily photography, like dogs and cats, because inside the backyards they're also part of those everyday visual stories.

Two masterpieces in one post, stunning. Each photo (in color) would easily generate 100+ upvotes in my cat subreddit.

I'd like to build a street cat photography place, not another pet subreddit, or another "help stray kitty" sub (love them, but they are enough of them on Reddit). So your images would be super helpful if you posted them sometimes - once or twice a week, only if you have time and mood.

Photos should be in color and without heavy post-processing - people should see the real colors of cats. And with [City, Country] in each title.

There are interesting people, like, cat genetics fans and scientists who are interested in watching street cats as they are. Adding some light post-processing artistic vibes isn't a problem, of course.

You can add a Hive link in the post body to get rewarded through HivePosh.

If you want to post a single image on Hive Snaps and share from there through HivePosh - that is allowed and fine.

I'd be happy if you stick to one single frontend (instead of constant changing between peakd, ecency, hive.blog) so people could understand "that's his blog".

I'd like to emphasize: I didn't create this subreddit for HivePosh - r/StreetCatsOfTheWorld is my genuine project, which can be combined with Hive (until Hive is harmful for my subreddit). I don't promote Hive on this subreddit openly as it breaks the Reddit rules, and my subreddit isn't a puppet, it's real, and I hope it will last many years.

It's 3 months old and reached 1.3K members, with around 30 new members a day.

I also invite people right on Reddit, and hope to bring some good photographers from r/streetphotography. Cats are often in the frame of street photographers, but not every street cat photo fully belongs to street photography, so now there is a place to post them - r/StreetCatsOfTheWorld

Wow, this subreddit is so interesting and charming dear @x-rain friend, excellent!! 👍.... I've already joined, and as soon as I get the chance, I'll be sharing some photos of my beloved stray cats from Montalbán, Venezuela there!... Thank you so much for letting me know about this!... You have an excellent space there to showcase these friendly felines that are all over the world!... Thank you for appreciating this work; I'm honored that you like it. After all, I can say that you are something of a "master of stray cat photos" 😃😺📷👍

Happy to hear that! 😊🤝

I am definitely a master of street cat photos 😄 but not of the largest scale yet, lol. Posting in a community really helps to understand things how to make your photography better and more interesting. For example, I knew nothing about cat genetics before I started this subreddit, and now I think - I must come back to Bangkok for cat photography with a new understanding... Okay, that's all exciting, lol...

I'll be sharing some photos of my beloved stray cats from Montalbán, Venezuela

That would be fantastic... Only when you have mood and time for that.

"Only when you have mood and time for that"...

😂

My dear friend, my photo archives are always overflowing with cats, and I always have the time and inclination for cats and photos, so I'm already selecting some to make a post. I couldn't resist the urge to do that after seeing your subreddit and noticing that you don't have any cats from Venezuela there yet, it seems! 😸 As soon as I finish, I'll share this there!
