Monomad: When the Mountains Whisper

Although I have returned from Bir now, my heart is still there. And I am saying this because my favorite mountain range is Dhauladhar. And yes, paragliding is also done here, which I have done only once. Anyway, these photos are of 18th May, when we returned to Bir from the paragliding take-off site.

As soon as clouds started gathering at the take-off site, we started the car and came 16 km away to our hotel in Bir. I reach the balcony of the room and check the weather and the next moment rain and storm start in a dangerous manner. The trees around are shaking as if they will be uprooted along with their roots.

I stand for a few minutes and admire this scene and when dust starts entering my eyes due to the storm, then I come to the room and wait for the weather to calm down a bit so that I can click some pictures of Hanumangarh Peak. There is going to be a trail race here in which runners have to run 18 km, the top point of this race is Hanumangarh Peak which is 3080 meters high.

I am admiring this view while drinking a hot tea, after about 35 minutes when the storm and rain calms down, then I again go to the balcony and click pictures with my 6 year old camera. Now it is a bit difficult to click photos with this camera because its shutter has become slow and the focus ring of the lens on the camera which is 55-250 mm is broken. Despite all this, this camera is still supporting me.

So how did you like today's post, and I nominate this post for #monomad challenge.

This is my entry for #monomad challenge.

Weather of Himachal is very unpredictable. Yesterday it was clear til the afternoon and then it was raining like crazy. Lovely pictures by the way. Bir is a beautiful place.

यही तो मांचल की खास बात है और बीड़ जैसी घाटियों में तो थर्मल बनते ही बारिश हो जाती है। धन्यवाद भाई जी आपके कॉमेंट का
