Monomad:the wood bee 'Xylocopa violacea'

Hello everyone in black and white A few days ago,I saw a wood bee standing on one end of a felled tree.I understand very well the character of this species of wood bee, where capturing this type of insect is the most difficult for me. They often fly around their nesting place, but I rarely see one of these bees resting on wooden branches, although occasionally I have seen this bee land on flower petals.

But don't be mistaken, this wood bee is regarded as one of the strongest insects capable of boring into wooden blocks to make them their homes, the holes are designed to be deep so that once the wood bee enters its palace,we cannot see it anymore. Therefore,I find it very difficult when I see this wood bee to photograph it.When such a moment occurs, it's time for me to target it.
