To Become Something Else ESP/ENG
Find new spaces to move, move differently
Explore the space of your body, how new does it feel to move differently?
Forget that it’s your body, it no longer belongs to you, become something else
Inhabit a new skin, a new body that doesn’t have to be human
How is wind represented? A cloud, the sand, a horse
How do I breathe through those bodies?
How do I reach that state of hyper-attention where I don’t have to be myself but
a thing
These things happen through the body, the mind is set aside and you begin to inhabit your body as mind, without divisions, without altering your self-concept, having the body awake and without filters of the binary concepts of the mind and word is something that can be achieved and it is difficult to set the mind aside in order to inhabit yourself feeling in a new way. Dance and movement research is something that fascinates me, if you can, give yourself the chance to try new things.
These photos made me reflect a little on that, not because the photos by themselves take me there but because there is an internal work that has brought me to that place, I think it is something that can be seen in them but I think it is something that above all I can see.

We don't think too much when we dance, we just allow our body move with the rhythm of the music or sound we hear.
This brings different kind of concepts and motion with the way we move our bodies.
I feel if we think too much about it, we stand to limit our bodies in a way.
These are beautiful shots Diego
I think the key is not to think with that region of thought that verbalises.
Thank you for your comment!
Excellent way to capture the movement of a body that feels free. Very nice pictures!
Congratulations. Today's #monomad third place is yours.
