A Special Photoshoot ESP/ENG

These photos are from a "quinceañera" party I recently went to. The celebration was at the quinceañera's house in a neighborhood in Caracas. For the photo session, she wasn't very convinced because, not being a photographer, she didn't quite understand the possibilities a photographer would see.

Estas fotos son de unos 15 años a los que fui hace poco y se celebraron en la casa de la quinceañera que era en un barrio de Caracas. Para hacerle la sesión de fotos ella no estaba muy convencida porque al no ser fotógrafa no entendía muy bien las posibilidades que observaría un fotógrafo.

Her mother, who is in the Dominican Republic, gave her the party as a gift and wanted her to have a good photo session. But for me, it was difficult to take session photos because she wasn't very receptive to the dynamic. I also understand that she was uncomfortable because it was her first time and she didn't know what it involved.

Su madre que está en Dominicana fue quien le regaló la fiesta y quería que se le hiciera una buena sesión de fotos, pero para mí fue difícil sacar fotos de sesión porque no era muy receptiva con la dinámica y entiendo que también estaba incómoda porque era su primera vez y no sabía en qué consistía.

To be honest, I couldn't take as many session photos as I would have liked; I had to stop much earlier than I expected. In those moments, you have to be understanding because it's no use to pressure, as the work just gets more difficult.

No pude hacer tantas fotos de sesión como me hubiese gustado. A decir verdad, tuve que parar mucho antes de lo que esperaba y en esos momentos hay que ser comprensivo porque no sirve de nada presionar, ya que el trabajo igual se vuelve más difícil.
