Smell of life || Monomad

Hello passionate about black and white and details again. This time I jump from iron to nature. From industrial to natural, although both environments have their authentic charm. These landscapes are incredible even in black and white. This area is covered by mountains full of pine trees. Here you can breathe a very special smell, as if you never want to leave. Many of these pines are harvested for their resin, which the locals say is used to make rubber. It is a very valuable raw material in the industry.

I have seen that cuts are made diagonally across the trunk, at the average height of the human, so that the resin goes down by gravity to a small bucket embedded in the same pine at the end of the cuts. How many pines are there here in these mountains ready for this process? No idea, I can't even remotely imagine. Recently there was a fire of great proportions here that devastated a large part of the pine forest, the result of the intense drought or of some human negligence. It has been several months since this incident and everything is green again. Nature never rests, it always surprises us with its infinite vitality. With these images I want to enter the daily challenge #monomad. Bye!

Olor a vida

Bye!

I can almost smell some of these photos, especially of the pine tree.

Every time I see these images, and there are many more than these, I am there, with that smell and that sound of the wind.... Indescribable. I'm glad some of that pine forest spirit has reached you. Thank you!

This is a bit of nature and harmony in contrast to the black and white. Cheers!
