Tribute to Havana ---Monomad--- [Eng-Esp]

Hello friends who love black and white photography. Today my city and the capital of my country, Cuba, turns 503 years old. And from this beautiful hive community I would love to pay tribute to her in the more than half a millennium of her.
Today I have brought a selection of images that I have made in it.

Hola amigos amantes de la fotografía en blanco y negro . Hoy mi ciudad y la capital de mi país ,Cuba ,cumple 503 años de fundada . Y desde esta hermosa comunidad de hive me encantaría rendir homenaje a ella en su más de medio milenio.
En el día de hoy he traído una selección de imágenes que he realizado en ella .

View of the National Capitol of Cuba. You can also see on the sides (the dome of the capitol can be seen in the middle) a large part of the buildings in Havana, both buildings where people live and political or historical places such as the square.
The image was made from the Christ of Havana viewpoint.

Vista del capitolio nacional de cuba . También se puede ver a los costados ( la cúpula del capitolio puede ser observada en el medio ) gran parte de las edificaciones de la Habana , tanto edificios donde viven personas como lugares políticos o históricos como es la plaza.

Imágen tomada en una de las calles del casco histórico a pleno mediodía. Intentando mostrar la interacción de las personas con la arquitectura .

A brigade of construction workers work to repair the streets of the historic center of the city. Those small bricks that are called cobblestones are part of the identity and to call it somehow, visual memory. Its first uses date back a few centuries and are quickly recognizable by its shape and by what we feel when walking. In other areas of the capital it is very difficult to find them.

Una brigada de trabajadores de la construcción laboran en la reparación de las calles del casco histórico de la ciudad. Esos pequeños ladrillos que son llamados adoquines son parte de la identidad y por llamarlo de alguna manera, recuerdo visual . Sus primeros usos datan de hace algunos siglos y son rápidamente reconocibles por su forma y por lo que sentimos al caminar . En otras zonas de la capital es muy difícil de encontrarlos .

The Walk of Meadow, is a very busy place, it is close to the National Capitol and the Havana boardwalk, in the afternoons we can see people of all ages walking, playing, doing sports, yes, the place is very busy in any time of the day.

El paseo del prado , es un lugar muy concurrido, queda cercano al capitolio nacional y a el malecón de la Habana, en las tardes podemos observar a personas de todas las edades paseando, jugando , haciendo deportes , eso sí , el lugar es muy transitado en cualquier hora del día.

Although it cannot be seen from this angle, to the right behind those trees is the Christ of Havana. To the left you could see part of the bay of Havana and in front the bay and the buildings.
It is a place of pilgrimage due to the presence of the image of Christ and also where we can see wonderful sunsets.

Aunque no se puede observar desde este ángulo, a la derecha detrás de esos árboles se encuentra el Cristo de la Habana. A la izquierda se podría observar parte de la bahía de la Habana y por delante igual la bahía y las edificaciones .
Es un lugar de peregrinación por la presencia de la imagen del Cristo y también dónde podemos ver atardeceres maravillosos .

What at the time was the perfume house. Today it no longer works like this. But on its sidewalks we can find some kittens sleeping from time to time. I love animals and seeing how well they are doing is wonderful.

Lo que en su momento fué la casa del perfume. Hoy ya no funciona como esto . Pero en sus aceras podemos encontrar a unos gaticos durmiendo de vez en cuando. Me encantan los animales y ver qué están bien es algo maravilloso.

One of the views of the Havana boardwalk. , The boardwalk is one of the most recognized sites and visited by nationals or tourists. It is several kilometers wide, so it is common to see many people of different characteristics along its route.
It is a place for farewells and reunions both with other people and with ourselves.

Una de las vistas del malecón habanero. , El malecón es uno de los sitios más reconocidos y visitados por nacionales o turistas . Tiene varios kilómetros de amplitud por lo cual es común ver muchísimas personas de diferentes características a lo largo de su trayecto.
Es un sitio de despedidas y reencuentros tanto con las demás personas, cómo con nosotros mismos.
