Takanakuy, one more post, one more fight, part of the brutality of the feast. I’m running out of words to tell you a bit about what Takanakuy is and what it means. So, I’ll move on to tell you a bit about what I feel when looking at my photos and developing them.

In the end, starting the process becomes a bit mechanical: explaining, perhaps improving the shadows, and I don't touch anything else. From there, I move on to the total processing that I already have predefined; I send my curves and my notes and apply them. This way, I maintain hegemony in all my publications. I’ve just learned this recently, and I’m proud because every day I learn something new.

Given this, I want to stop talking so much about the feasts and talk a bit about what documentary photography means to all of us. Being able to tell the story in the way we observe, in the way we look, gifting others an interpretation of things. Because in the end, everyone interprets what they see in their own way. Lately, I really enjoy reading about artists, compositions, photographic styles, and everything that photography encompasses.

You realize that it’s such a giant world that you wouldn't believe AI could ever supplant it. It’s impossible. Because the vision of man and what we see will never be equaled. No matter how much you want to create something through a program, what we see and what we want others to see is unique. I’m left with that reflection today. I’m uploading a series of fights that I liked a lot: a lot of body-to-body contact, a lot of dust, many blows, and a very rich atmosphere for the final development. Takanakuy, un post más, una pelea más, parte de la brutalidad de la fiesta. Ya se me acaban las palabras para poder contarles un poco sobre lo que es el Takanakuy y lo que significa. Así que paso un poco a contarles lo que siento al ver mis fotos y al revelarlas.

Al final, empezar el proceso se vuelve un poco mecánico: mejorar las sombras y no toco nada más. De ahí ya paso al procesado total que yo tengo ya predefinido; mando mis curvas y mis notas y lo aplico. Así mantengo una hegemonía en todas mis publicaciones. Eso recién lo he aprendido ahora, estoy orgulloso porque cada día aprendo algo nuevo.

Dado esto, ya no quiero hablar tanto de las fiestas, sino de lo que significa la fotografía documental para todos nosotros. De poder contar la historia de la manera en que observamos, de la manera en que miramos, de regalarles una interpretación de las cosas. Porque al final cada quien interpreta lo que ve a su manera. A mí, por lo general, últimamente me gusta mucho leer sobre artistas, composiciones, estilos fotográficos y todo lo que abarca la fotografía.

Te das cuenta de que es un mundo tan gigante que no crees que la IA vaya a poder suplantar eso; es imposible. Porque la visión del hombre y lo que vemos nosotros nunca se va a igualar. Así quieras crear algo por un programa, lo que vemos y lo que queremos hacer que los demás vean es único. Me quedo con esa reflexión hoy. Subo una serie de peleas que me gustaron mucho: mucho contacto cuerpo a cuerpo, mucho polvo, muchos golpes y una atmósfera muy rica para el revelado final. Espero que les haya gustado lo de hoy; les regalo como siempre esta pequeña batalla desde el hermoso Takanakuy de Chumbivilcas. Les mando un abrazo, siempre les deseo las mejores de las vibras y paz y amor para todos.
