Hello, friends of the Black and White community and #MonoMad. Today I’m remembering some good friends I met during my trip to Pisac. I met an Austrian friend in the middle of a heavy rain; he was a mountain runner. To be honest, I didn't even know what language they spoke there, but he spoke German, along with an older German man and a Russian girl. We talked for about an hour and a half because the rain made the stones too slippery to walk on.

We had a great conversation. I told him about Peru because they are always very curious and have a different vision of our country. It was incredible to meet these characters in such a place. We eventually split up because he went off running. I would have loved to join him, but I was there for the photography, capturing the landscapes I’m sharing with you today. Hours later, I found him again in town—he was already showered and changed, looking for dinner, while I was still sweaty and returning from my last day in Pisac. It was a beautiful day in this town that I hope you all can visit someday.

Hola, amigos de la comunidad de Blanco y Negro y mis queridísimos amigos del MonoMad. Hoy recuerdo a unos buenos amigos que conocí en el viaje a Pisac. Conocí a un amigo austriaco en plena lluvia; él era corredor de montañas. Para ser sincero, no sabía bien qué idioma hablaban por allá, pero él hablaba alemán, junto con un señor alemán más adulto y una chica rusa. Estuvimos conversando un buen rato porque llovió como hora y media y era imposible caminar por las piedras resbalosas.

Tuvimos una buena comunicación. Le conté un poco cómo era el Perú porque siempre tienen mucha curiosidad y una visión diferente a la nuestra. Fue algo increíble conocer a estos personajes en ese lugar. Luego nos separamos porque él se fue corriendo. Me hubiera gustado acompañarlo, pero yo estaba en lo mío: capturando los paisajes que les comparto en estas fotos. Horas después me lo encontré en el pueblo; él ya estaba bañado y cambiado buscando qué cenar, mientras yo seguía todo sudado retornando de mi último día en Pisac. Fue un día hermoso en este pueblo que espero algún día puedan conocer.
