Cusco's architecture is incredibly beautiful. That combination of Inca stones and colonial balconies is a absolute pleasure to look at. It's everywhere; wherever you walk, you want to guess how old every door or balcony you come across is, or stop to look at how the street name signs are decorated.

The cathedrals are also very beautiful and imposing. There are about five in the historic center, each more stunning than the last. Religion is very deeply rooted in this part of the region.

Finally, the stone walls. I really like to contemplate them and try to understand how, without modern technology, they could put together this kind of real-life Tetris. Not even a sheet of paper can pass through the joints; it truly seems out of this world.

La arquitectura de Cusco es muy hermosa. Esa combinación entre piedras incas y balcones coloniales es un placer mirarla. Está por todos lados; por donde pasas quieres adivinar cuántos años tendrá cada puerta o balcón que te cruzas, o ver cómo están decorados los nombres de las calles.

Las catedrales también son muy bellas y son imponentes. Hay unas cinco en el centro histórico, una más bella que la otra. La religión también está muy instalada en esta parte de la región.

Por último, los muros de piedras. Me gusta mucho contemplarlos y tratar de entender cómo, sin la tecnología, podían armar toda esta serie de Tetris real. No pasa una hoja de papel por las uniones, parece algo de otro mundo.
