This is my entry to the #monomad challenge on the amazing Black and White community.

Today we are going to take a walk together through a beautiful city in Spain.

Hoy nos iremos a dar un paseo juntos por una hermosa ciudad de España.

Palma was for me a real surprise and a very good one!!

My trip to the island was something unexpected, and I ended up picking that place because I needed a cheap flight, but I wanted to be at the beach, after the bad experience at last volunteering as a Yoga teacher in Misano Adriático.

When I saw the flight at around 10 euros, I just stopped wondering, and I bought the ticket.

I found a nice place to stay in Cala d’Or, which was a little bit far from Palma by public transportation, but it wasn’t a problem for me, so I visited the main city on the island twice.

¡¡¡Palma fue para mí una verdadera sorpresa y muy buena!!!

Mi viaje a la isla fue algo inesperado, y acabé eligiendo ese lugar porque necesitaba un vuelo barato, pero quería estar en la playa, después de la mala experiencia en el último voluntariado como profesora de Yoga en Misano Adriático.

Cuando vi que el vuelo costaba unos 10 euros, dejé de preguntarme y compré el billete.

Encontré un buen lugar para alojarme en Cala d'Or, que estaba un poco lejos de Palma en transporte público, pero no fue un problema para mí, así que visité la principal ciudad de la isla dos veces.

Palma has the beauty of being a small-medium city that is in front of the sea. It offers a crowd if you are looking for that, and also offers calming areas if you need a moment to rest.

It has big stores, and also traditional and small ferias where to buy something that you may want.

It offers a beautiful and warm sun but also places that act like a shelter for the heat.

Palma tiene la belleza de ser una ciudad pequeña-mediana que está frente al mar. Ofrece multitud si lo que buscas es eso, y también ofrece zonas tranquilas si necesitas un momento de descanso.

Tiene grandes tiendas, y también ferias tradicionales y pequeñas donde comprar algo que puedas querer.

Ofrece un hermoso y cálido sol, pero también lugares que actúan como un refugio para el calor.

Palma keeps the magic of traditional Spain. Not many people speak English there, and they are calm as many of the Spanish citizens. People in bars and restaurants are always trying to help you and they want you to have the best experience at their place.

Prices are quite cheap comparing them with other places in Europe, and if you want to exit the island for any reason, you have a flight in 10 - 15 euros to Barcelona, which is a very big city in Spain.

Palma mantiene la magia de la España tradicional. No hay mucha gente que hable inglés allí, y son tranquilos como muchos de los ciudadanos españoles. La gente en los bares y restaurantes siempre intenta ayudarte y quieren que tengas la mejor experiencia en su local.

Los precios son bastante baratos comparándolos con otros lugares de Europa, y si quieres salir de la isla por cualquier motivo, tienes un vuelo en 10 - 15 euros a Barcelona, que es una ciudad muy grande en España.

I took these pictures the second day that I visited Palma, and it’s when I walked a little bit more to the North, to visit this nice place: “Park de Sa Feixina”, which offered a nice green zone where I made a video call with a friend. The afternoon was hot that day.

On my way to the Parc, I walked through the Carrer de Manacor, which is a fancy and old-style street full of arches and columns that create a gallery where you can easily walk.

Estas fotos las hice el segundo día que visité Palma, y es cuando caminé un poco más hacia el Norte, para visitar este bonito lugar: "Park de Sa Feixina", que ofrecía una bonita zona verde donde hice una videollamada con un amigo. La tarde era calurosa ese día.

De camino al Parc, caminé por el Carrer de Manacor, que es una calle elegante y antigua llena de arcos y columnas que crean una galería por la que se puede caminar fácilmente.
