Val di Funes - Dolomiti in black&white

This is my entry for #monomad challenge by @monochromes.

Last sunday I have been in Dolomiti, a wonderful range of mountains in North Italy (Alto Adige region, near Austria).

I prefer to go ski mountaineering instead of piste skiing: less people, and only wild mountains.

A bit of fog in low valleys, a shining sun on summits!

Here my fellows following the icy path:

I love mountains and loneliness...

Mountains side appeared as the skin of a snake:

Going down, some clouds created a magic atmosphere:

We were under mysterious Odle range:

The snow-covered peaks contrast beautifully with the white clouds. Thanks for sharing these scenic pictures. You must've enjoyed your outing to Dolomiti
