The king- Monomad challenge

"The trouble is not in dying for a friend, but in finding a friend worth dying for."
— Mark Twain

Hi guys. I hope that you all are fine. I am doing well. I was out of town for almost a week. I had to meet my friends. I took some pictures of a very close friends of mine and I hope you will like these pictures.

This is my entry picture to the #monomad challenge. This is my friend Basit. We call him Basha which is a Sindhi word for King. It suits him because he has a kingly behavior. He is very compassionate and offers very sound advises. I took these pictures at the cricket ground. He is a teacher by profession, but he also plays cricket tournaments around the district.

There are many things that I like and dislike about him, but there is this one thing that I absolutely admire about him. He finds humor in all sorts of situations. This allows him to be clam, rational and joyous in tense and serious situations.

Sometimes, we overthink on petty issues and forget that this too shall pass. We get consumed and absorbed in our worries that we forget to smile and live with ease. I have learnt this from my friend Basha that we have to keep smiling and keep fighting with a pure smile on our face.

I took these pictures and showed these to him. He said that my photography is admirable and my phone captures some really good photos.

I met Basit in 2017 in my university. It took just one meeting for our friendship to click. I am from Larkana and he is from Lakki two cities with a difference of almost 180 kilometers. He could not continue his studies at the university and returned back to his city in 2018 and we could not be in contact for months, but here we are talking about everything that has happened.

I want him to be happy and satisfied in his life. I want that for myself too and photography satisfies me to the core. I am currently saving for my very first camera. I have always wanted a camera but could not afford one. I use my cellphone to take pictures. Lets see where life takes us and our passions.

Thank you so much for your time and support. It means a lot to me. I hope you liked the pictures. Do share your views and thoughts in the comments section below so that we can learn and grow together. Take care and have a great day ahead. Do not forget to follow my account for more such content.

Ps: The pictures are mine taken with my Google Pixel 5 and edited using Adoble Literoom app.
