Weekend photo-hunting // the first stop - Grasshopper macro photo

It was early in the morning; I guess it was around 7 a.m., and I was waiting for @gideongys, @ikankaruk88, and @bluekinabalu at Tamparuli for our Ranau outing. I had just arrived at the pin point, and about 5 minutes later they came and fetched me.

Around 10 minutes of driving uphill to the hill road track, we stop at the side of the road, trying to capture the beautiful morning view of Mount Kinabalu. We realize that there is a stack of pine needles at the hut near where we park the car. We joke around that we found free food because they didn't leave any boxes, so we can put our money in if we want to buy it.

Later, here comes the owner of the pinnaple. Lucky for us, we didn't take some of it for breakfast. She says that it has already been booked by a buyer from the town, but we can buy it if we want. The pinnaple was surprising cheap; I guess it was because it came direct from the farm. Each of them only costs around 70 cents, or RM 3. @ikankaruk88 can buy some of it, and the lady owner even gives him some for free.

Here are some twists in the story:

While we were talking with the untie, I saw this little grasshopper just near the pineapple, and I couldn't help but grab my camera, which was actually connected with a 100 mm f/2.8 macro lens. The funny thing was that since it was so small, I tried to get my lens as close as I could, and I totally forgot about the aunt who was just in front of me. I guess she'll think that I look so weird with my funny position trying to capture the grasshopper.

According to Source , the species was know as Dichromorpha viridis

Thanks for stopping by, and please ignore my awkward pose while taking those photos, "talking to the untie, LOLZ." . I hope you enjoy today's series and expect more journeys to come because this was just the first stop of the day.

Is that Auntie smiling because of your position in taking a photo?
Crops are really cheap whe comes from the farm. That's why farmers don't sell much
