My Daily Post: "Trash Recycling and Gift Wrapper Activity"

Recycling is a good way to make our Surroundings clea, we can also used it in different ways like planting or selling purposes.

Before my Elders Sister's wedding, giving them a gifts is a part or tradition and I was worried about it because I don't have any money to buy gifts. I thinking so much on what to do and suddenly I realized about recycling those trash at the back of our house. Maybe I can buy some pieces of mugs for my Sister's Gift, this is the only way so I caj brought some pieces of mug for my Sister's wedding gifts.

Before I proceed to my Work, I prepared our Breakfast first by cooking rice. It is good that we can eat our meals before doing our job so we can performed our tasks and obligations very well. Gladly I have lots of firewoods to used, I can't gathered lots of firewoods that time because it is wet by rain. Rainy season has started here in our place, and luckily I gathered lots of firewoods last Summer season. It takes a few minutes before finishing my obligations, boiling water for a hot coffee and preparing foods for our breakfast.

After that, I proceed to the backyard to gathered recycled trash that can be sell at the Junkshop. As I went there, I saw lots of recyclable trash that can be sell and I brought few empty big sacks so I can put it all and carried very easily. I carefully choosed those trash that can be sell, while partner was also very busy cleaning and gathering those wild grass and dry leaves. There are few trash that can't be sell but still I put in one place so the surrounding will be clean. This is what I always do, to gathered lots of trash so I can sell and earned by selling it to the junk collector.

Empty cans, plastics trays, Cola bottles, rusty nails and plainsheets are at the place and this will be included to sell. Gladly I collected 2 big sacks of empty cans and 2 big sacks of plastics. My Husband also scaling the rusty nails and metals we gathered and it reached up to 3 Kilos. As we finally finished gathering those trash, my husband decided to went to the junkshop and ask the junk collector to come over to our house so we can sell the junk and trash we gathered.

Fast forward, we earned 120 Pesos of those trash and I was very happy that finally I have money to buy the mugs for my Sister's gift.

But still I have a small problem and this was the money for buying the materials just like ribbons, wedding wrappers, scatch tape and greetings card. The materials can reached 60 pesos estimation costs, but with the help of Hive, I decided to sell some of my tokens.

Fast Forward

I was very happy that finally I brought the mugs I liked for my Sister's gift and the mugs costs up to 20 Pesos Each. I earned 120 Pesos from my trash I selled so I decided to brought 6 pieces of mugs and I also asked to have a big empty box so I can put those mugs before wrapping it.

This are some of the materials I brought just like ready-made ribbons, Greetings card and two pieces of wedding wrappers. I brought it for 30 Pesos.

First, I wrapped each mugs with a cardboard to avoid cracking, this kind of thing is very fragile so it must be put in perfect place. Next I also put cutted cardboards as a divisions of those mugs.

After that, I carefully taped each corner of the box including those cutted parts so it wont open easily. This can help it durable when it carried.

The next thing I did was to put those wrapper in a perfect place at the box and I carefully taped each end of the thing so I can easily estimate the right parts to put. This is very tricky because it must not be tape the surface of the wrapper to avoid it teared down.

One of the hardest parts by gift wrapping is the edge of the box, it must be perfectly folded and taped. I tried many times on how taped it perfectly and gladly After a few times of attempted I finally got it.

After almost an hour of gift wrapping, I finally made it. This was my first time to do this kind of work but there is a slight problem, as my Husbabd wrote the names of the groom and bride, accidentally the ink was scattered at the greetings card leaving this unpleasant marks. My idea is to put Doublesided tape including the names so it will look very well again. Until next post, have a nice day to everyone.
