The 90s memory that exist till today

Before the supermart or convenient store hits, there were this local wooden shop packs with tones of selection of choices. No advertise needed, no air no whatever social media promoting, no buy 1 free 1 and so on. Just pure simple packaging with simple joy and happiness make us remembered until today.

It use to be 1 - 10 cent during my childhood. Just slot in the coin and twisting/turning the knob to the right and the egg will drop out randomly. The sound of turning, cracking and shouting whenever you got the item that you wanted surely does hit most of the memory of yours today. The egg contain mini toys or maybe some with candy too. But now the price of it is RM19.90 ( < 5$ ). Gosh childhood toys getting pricy now.

The metal biscuit box or container use it to store biscuit and sells them to the customer according to their desire weight. Which is hardly seen today as modern plastic container came in. Snake ladder board game is also one of the most played game during my childhood. No technology were involved.

Have you seen a wooden ruler before? Which is commonly use before the plastic or metal type of ruler came in use. Well teacher even use to slap your hand if you didn't finished up your homework lol.

The square one is mostly seen during the 90s. I wonder is it still works today?
