Visit a deserted temple in Chiang Mai Province, Thailand.

Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. My wife and I still drive and walk around our district whenever we have free time, after we send our son and granddaughter to school. Sometimes we plan our trips. And sometimes we don't plan our trips. This time too, I drove around with my wife in our district again. But we didn't plan this trip. We traveled to Pong Nam Ron Subdistrict and Mon Pin Subdistrict. And go to places we've never visited. Through many villages and farms. There are local Thai people villages, Tai Yai people villages, Yunnan Chinese people villages and hill tribe villages. But there is an interesting Tai Yai village. I don't know the village, it's my first time visiting it. It's about 35 kilometers from our house, which is quite far. The village is located on a rural road and about 18 kilometers from highway 107.

Some of the atmosphere and scenery from the journey along highway 107 to this Tai Yai people village.

This village is the rural village. In the community there are houses among farms and nature. It is a peaceful and beautiful rural village. So we parked on the side of the road and walked around the village. Some of the atmosphere in this village.

The interesting thing about this village is the deserted temple in the community. As we walked around the village and talked to the local peoples in the village, so we know that there was a deserted temple in the village. Traveling to this deserted temple. We walked through the community area and went to this deserted temple.
This deserted temple is not a large area. The area inside the deserted temple is overgrown with grass, weeds and trees. And inside the temple there are many large outdoor buddha images. There are two pagodas and other structures. In some areas of the deserted temple, we dare not walk into areas with lots of grass and weeds. Because we are afraid of snakes. So I was able to take photos some of inside the temple. For some photos, I had to take them with 2x zoom.

Some atmosphere in the deserted temple that we can walk into the area.

These are the stories and photos I want to share for this post. Invite everyone to see and enjoy my stories and photos. Please forgive any errors/mistakes. Have a great day. See you next time. Thank you for your support and visiting my post. Bye 🤗

It's quite a mystery why it was deserted. Did any of the locals tell you it's history? It looks newly built.

The village looks so peaceful. It's nice to drive around and discover new places. I wonder why the temple is deserted as it doesn't look too old. Perhaps someday it will be revived and people will be coming back to pay their respects. I am terrified of snakes too.

The villagers built a new temple. The new temple is located in another location. Which is far from this deserted temple. Thank you. Have a nice day.

This place is interesting but mysterious. The local government should revive it not only for tourism but also to preserve its historical value.
