A Day in My Life Blog: My Mother's Scheduled Operation for Her Pterygium and Thank God for it Successfully Done! 🙏😇😊
Have a Blessed Day to all ASEAN Hivers and all my Fellow Hivers all over the World!
Last week, I have shared about a day where we go to the hospital with my Mother for her Eye Check to a Ophthalmologist at the Adventist Medical Center in Iligan City.
Sad to say that the findings of her Check Up to the Ophthalmologist is not good as she needs an immediate operation for her Pterygium and to be followed by Cataract.
Now, what I am about to share today is the day for the schedule of my Mother's Operation for her Pterygium. I am here always to help her most especially that I am now taking care of her since both of my siblings are living from a far.
Before I get started sharing, my greetings and thanksgiving first to all my supporters her in the community ever since. From the Admin, all Curators and all commenters, thank you all so much.

The operation of my Mother is scheduled to happen by 9:00 in the morning, and since we take more or less an hour just for us to arrive at the Hospital, we wake up early to prepare.
We have also a service to be used today from my Brother in Law's brother who rent a car so we can go immediately to the Hospital. We went to the Hospital around 7:00 in the morning.

We arrived at Iligan City round 8:00 in the morning that is why, we have decided to rest first knowing that the office of the Doctor maybe close at this time.
We went to a tourist place named Pasea de Santiago which is very near to the Hospital wnd and it is located alongside the beach and so we can feel a good and fresh air from the sea.
It is a great time to be here at this area as we can rest even for just a few minutes knowing that we have wake up very early so we can go to the hospital wjd and the first to be accommodate with the Doctor.

After a few minutes, we have now then recea call from the Secretary of the Doctor reminding us about the schedule and that we have decided to immediately go to the Hospital.
As we finally arrived, my Mother now then started doing the first step which are the Vital Sgns and other needed information. I have filled up the form given to me to do the next process.
I have now then told to go to the Billing Office to process the PhilHealth which is very important so we don't have payment here in the Hospital. It took me a while here waiting for my name to be called.
While I am busy processing this important papers and others, I have received a message from the one who looked for my Mother who is our Church Member who volunteered herself to be a watcher for my Mother while I'll process the papers. She told me that my Mother is now in the operating room to finally start the operation.

It took me a long time to finished the process of the needed papers for the billing and so I have decided to take my lunch first as it is already lunch time.
Finally that was around 12:30 when I finished the process of the papers needed and then I went immediately to the Operating Room where my Mother is located and as I go inside, her operation is now done and needed to rest for a while.
We have waited for how many hours as the Doctor have other patients to operate with same condition with my Mother, and so were still here waiting for the next instructions to be given to us.

Finally, the operation of other patients has now done and the nurse has been started doing the last thing they needed to do to my Mother before we can go home.
A final instruction has been given to us also as instructed by the Doctor. An Eye drop has been also given to us so I can drop it to my Mother's eye as her medicine.
A complete instructions were also writing in a paper so we can remember it very well. After a while, it is now time for us to go home. That was around 3:00 in the afternoon.
I have now then contacted my Brother in Law's brother as the rented vehicle were also be used when we go home. That was around 4:00 in the afternoon when we finally got home safe and sound.
This would be all for today's post, and until next time again, I just want to thank everyone in advance who will drop by on my blog post.
To God be all the Glory! 😇🙌☝️

It's a good thing you're there to take care of your mother. As people grow older, we naturally become more vulnerable to various health issues and illnesses. Your care and support mean a lot during this stage of her life.
That is true... And I'm always here for my Mother. 😇🤗
Congratulations on your mother successful eye operation. I hope she could see well after the healing process. My mom also undergo eye surgery but the sad part after it she still cannot see.
So sad... Hopefully my Mother can see well after. Praying always. 😇🤗😊
