A Day in My Life Blog: This Month's FDS Session of 4PS Beneficiaries with My Cousin to assist Him here at Punta Silum, Manticao Misamis Oriental! 😇😊🤗

It's been a week already since my last blog post here in the community for I was bit busy with many life events that happened in my life, though I have captured some pictures of those events, I didn't shared it but thank God for today, I'll be started sharing it here with all of you.

Just recently, I have handled another Family Development Session (FDS) for the 4PS beneficiaries together with my cousin and it is my pleasure to help him with this mission for the Lord.

I am glad to be back again and before I continue with my sharing, let me thank first all of you my fellow Hivers and supporters. To the community Admins, and all Curators thank you so much for always supporting me.

As a Pastor it is my privilege in every time we were given a tasks that would held many individual most especially with in terms of spiritual and physical aspect as will.

At the time I received a message from the Municipal Link of the DSWD that we have an schedule for FDS this month, I am very happy knowing that I am the Municipal Coordinator and it is my role to get updated with this.

I have assigened at Camanga but what I am showing here is the happenings during our FDS Session at Punta Silum, a Barangay here in the Municipality of Manticao, and together with me is my cousin and slo my Senior Pastor.

My cousin was supposed to the only one assigned to this Barangay but he is very busy with other mission that has been given to him, and so without any hesitation I am always here to support him with this mission.

He asked me if I can helped him, in which he will be the one handling the first session from 8:30-10:00 in the morning and I will be in the second session from 10:00-11:30 in the morning.

And so it was already 8:30 exactly he was also arrived at the covered court where the session will be held the he immediately started it with an opening prayer followed by sharing the lesson that has been given to us.

The lesson that has been given to us is very important and very interesting as it is all about nutrition. Since this month we are celebrating the Nutrition Month, so the DSWD also gives us a topic that suits what we celebrate this month.

My cousin now shared the topic based on the handout and lecture that has been given to us and I am also here besides him to assist him in every time he has something he didn't know. And also I have prepared a PowerPoint presentation so that the beneficiaries will have something to see and for them to easily understand the topic.

Thankfully, he finished the topic very well and on time then the beneficiaries started signing the attendance before leaving and also my cousin immediately went to his other important event to attend and I will be the one to continue the second session.

At around 9:55 in the morning, the second session 4PS beneficiaries started coming here in the covered court in which I will be the one going to discuss the topic to them. I have waited for a while until around 10:00 many almost all of them were here, and so it is now time to start our session.

I have also started the session with an opening prayer then followed by asking them if they have any ideas of the topic and they got it right as they know that this month is Nutrition Month.

In order for them to understand very well the topic, I have also used the PowerPoint presentation. At this point I've get their attention already and in every time I asked them a question they have also participated, and I am happy with their response.

That was already around 11:20 when we finally finished the session but before ending it up, I have offer first a prayer for them with their own family, that God will always gives them strength, good health and protection with their whole family.

Then lastly, they have then started signing their attendance and some also came to me telling that they have been sit in from other Barangay and asked permission so that they can go to the office and have their attendance.

That was already 11:50 when everything had finally finished then I have went home first to take my lunch before I went to the office to submit the attendance. I thank and praise God for everything went well and all this for God's glory alone.
