Getting Banana Blossoms For Our Meals, Fruit Checking at The Farm and A Short Walk Going To The Store

Here in the Province, there are lots of things we can do. Planting different kinds of crops, vegetables and fruit trees and aside of that we can lots of different kinds of exotic food like bamboo sprouts and banana blossoms. Today, I decided to looked for any banana blossoms at the mountain slope. I really hope I can get lots of it for food for our dinner, getting those banana blossoms helps the banana fruits grows without getting any damages like dark spots and dry. Getting this kind of thing is not really easy for me because I am not expert of getting banana blossoms but I will keep trying my best to get so we can have food for our dinner.

It was already 8 in the morning when I started to looked for any long sticks used to attached the sharp Sickle so it can help to cut the blossoms very easily. First, my Father was busy sharpening the tool to use for getting the blossoms while I kept myself busy looking for any long sticks and rope.

After few minutes of searching, finally I found a long stick and after that I attached the sharp tool use to cut the blossoms and carefully tied with a rope. It helps the tool that cannot be easily removed when I will start cutting the banana blossoms. It takes a few minutes of walking from our house going at the mountain slope and as I arrived there I started to cut the banana blossoms. Luckily the stick I found is very long and it can reach very easily. I also brought my plastic pail so I can put all the blossoms and easily to carried back home. I was very happy to see those big thee banana blossoms I'd got and after that I decided to check some of my fruit trees we have here at the farm.

Some of the Manggo trees we have here are also produced lots of flowers and I am very happy to see it. Even if we don't use any synthetic materials that can produce fruits, still there are lots of flowers grows because of the fruit bearing season. The best thing I will do is to create a smoke out of dry leaves so harmful insects wont come and the flowers wont be damage and fall to the ground. It takes almost an hour at the place and after that I decided to went back home so I can buy the ingredients for my Banana blossoms.

The store is quitely far from our house here at the farm and it needs to cross the river and walk few meters in the dusty and rocky road. Gladly some parts of the road are now concreted and it can easily walk here without getting dusty. This is one of the common problem here if we forgot to buy some ingredients and it will take courage to went to the place so I can cook the blossoms I'd got. This is very common situation here and courage is very important.
