Hello friends, hello everyone, have a nice day to hou all. Hope everyone's doing great today where ever part of the world you are right now...

This morning, while I was sweeping the fallen leaves, I heard a very noisy bird up in the tree. It kept flying back and forthβ€”flying away as if it had somewhere to go, then returning to the top of the tree again. It was a Philippine Magpie-Robin.
Every day, you can see many of these birds in the trees, making lots of noise and playing around. They are often in the avocado tree beside our house. Sometimes, while I am sitting on the swing, one even lands on a small plant right beside me. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take a photo because it flew away so quickly.
The noisy bird from earlier came down again and perched on a broken branch, so I quickly grabbed my camera to take some photos. When I came back, it was still there, as if it was watching over or guarding something.

While I was taking photos, I observed it closely to see what it was watching and what it was going to do.
It turned out that it was watching an insect, waiting for the right moment to catch it. As soon as it caught the insect, it immediately flew back up to the avocado tree, where it ate the insect it had caught..

After catching insects several times, it eventually flew toward the mango tree and then flew away, disappearing into the distance. 🐦🌳

It’s really fun to watch the birds. There was one time when I saw them hopping around on our sweet potato plants, and they looked like they were just playing with each other. It made the morning feel even more lovely whenever I saw them, although I honestly don’t know what kind of birds they are.

It’s nice that you’re able to recognize birds and know their names. I wish I knew more about them too.

I love how you captured the magpie robin doing its thing. 🐦 Nature is so fascinating, especially seeing how birds hunt for their food. Great observation! 😊

So, this is a magpie? Well, I remember about one of the interviews where I get to demo an interviewer and I got wrong for the pronunciation about the name of this bird. Instead of Mag-pie for the pronunciation, I pronounce it mag-pe. I was laughing hard after I realize that I got the wrong pronunciation of the word and the interviewer was also laughing about the wrong pronunciation, too. Did I got the job? Of course NOT because I was wrong about teaching her on the demo.
