Spring has Sprung in the Garden - by Sunscape
My Daffodils have finally bloomed and I am in love with them all over again. I tend to forget how beautiful they are until they pop up first thing in the spring. Here are a few photos from around my gardens, enjoy!
This daffodil is by far my favorite one with the tangerine centers.
The pale yellow on the white petals is also another one that I adore.
I don't know how these two varieties got mixed together as I always plant each in its own location. Yet, they do look nice together. :-)
The pink candytuft is blooming and has surrounded one of my solar lights in the front garden. I have not even had a chance to clean out any debris from the winter winds yet.
The Forsythia bushes are in full bloom and look stunning as always. The sparrows love to huddle in them all winter long, especially when they are layered in a snow canopy.
I have to think that the plants are a bit earlier this year than usual due to the warm weather.
Even the Hyacinth flowers are turning brown and they have only been out for a week now. This is so sad as I have not had a chance to photograph them or enjoy their wonderful fragrance. Below is a photo of one of mine from last spring.
May your gardens be beautiful this year and I look forward to seeing yours as well.
Until next time, this is Sunscape

Wow! Beautiful flowers! Great atmosphere in the garden! Have a party!
Thank you very much, the flowers are so pretty right now. Nice to see you!
Your daffy are glorious! Mine were getting there and the high heat fried them. They’ve mostly turned brown. :((
But now the tulips are coming and hopefully they won’t get frosted.
Awe, my daffodils were not blooming yet but that heat wave fried the hyacinths. So sad! It looks like we will be back to normal cool ranges for a little while now.
I love the orange on those daffodils!
Thank you so much, the orange on the daffodil is my all-time favorite. Have a wonderful week.
It's an exquisite tonal contrast, thank you very much, have a lovely week yourself and magical time in your garden!
