Sow parsley
Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well ☺️ For those who don't know, I work with a group of 24 children aged 4 and 5 in a kindergarten. Today we did an activity different from what we usually do at school.
First I told them a story about the little seed, which says that we must have patience for the parsley to grow. Seeds are not born overnight and so I had to explain to them that the most important thing is to be patient. Then we moved on to action, sowing and they loved it ☺️
I went to a garden near my house and asked for some pots and explained to them what it was for and they recommended me these pots that don't pollute the environment
First they put the earth, then the seeds and then they put the earth again. They did everything themselves, in the end I just found a way ☺️
They really loved this activity. They immediately went to show their parents and I said that each one would take their vase with parsley home and each one had to water it and then when it was growing the parents had to send a picture ☺️ Parents at home must always be working with the children like at school. It can't just be at school. If the family shows the child that school is super important and that they do interesting activities, the child will always end up liking school a lot ☺️
I really like to see them working in a group and being independent from this age. When a child shows difficulties, a friend goes there and helps and I feel proud of that because they didn't do that at first and I've been talking to them a lot about helping each other and they soon do. It's really nice to feel that they hear what I say ☺️
After they were all done, we put them on the living room window to get some sun and water them all at the same time. At the end of the day, each one took their own home to do the continuation.
Then I did a job with them for them to paint and number
Then they had to cut and paste
Then I did another job for them to do the same and they did it very well, I thought it was going to be worse 😂
I hope you enjoyed it, see you soon friends 😃 😃
waoooo, in my city I can't plant peterseli because of the hot weather
Hello, what a pity not to be able to plant. Thank you so much for your comment ☺️
It is so nice to see little ones being exposed to gardening at a young age. I am sure when they grow they will be gardeners too!
Thank you so much 😊
You're welcome (^_^)
Yay! 🤗
