Fresh and Tender Curry Leaves brimming with life, in my Home Garden!

Hello Everyone, I am truly delighted to share this in #hivegarden to showcase the abundant #growth of fresh, gentle, tender and lush green curry leaves in my home garden.

Quite interestingly, this cute little plant was gifted by my Uncle, (Dad's elder brother) for the reason that Dad really loved relishing the Indian Curry that was made with home picked fresh curry leaves and not just the Curry but most of lentils and lentil soups be prepared with it.

This particular plant 🌱 has such a wonderful aroma, beautifully spread around in the kitchen while preparing any of the dishes with it.

Trust me, we have definitely not limited ourselves using Curry leaves and generally use it, wherever possible for its absolutely abundant #health benefits.

Just be surprised to know that this plant is said to have: antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, antiprotozoal and anti-diarrhoeal properties.

Curry leaves are said to..."help" in digestion, lower cholesterol, promote rich hair health, prevent premature graying of hair, and above all...protect hair from damage & the "anti-inflammatory" properties may reduce swelling. Infact, there has been lots of research done on curry leaves for its several medicinal properties in Ayurveda.

Therefore...other than marvelous aroma and imparting flavor, curry leaves have several medicinal uses, as well, uncountable!!!

Having said that, you can actually imagine, how much value and importance this little plant carries in our and million other households across #india and possibly several other parts of the world, for all those who are aware of its rich health benefits.

Indian households and kitchens are very much fond of Curry Leaves! Trust me!

So when the new leaves started coming up on our little plant, I was totally filled with joy and happiness for couple of reasons. Taking care of the plant carries great importance in our home garden.

After lots of love, care and attention when the new leaves started to grow, I was literally proud and happy that I was able to take proper care!

Proper pruning, natural manure, abundant sunlight, proper care from bugs, caterpillars, grasshoppers and other egg laying insects is extremely important to keep it safe and #healthy.

We totally avoid spraying any kind of pesticide or insecticide on the Curry Leaves plant for the key reason that these are edible leaves and we don't want any residue to pass on for health reasons and since its homegrown we want it to be absolutely #organic. Therefore I keep on regularly checking its tender and gentle leaves of any pest or insect attack, almost regularly.

In our home garden, Curry Plant has truly great importance and significance aa we care for our lovely and beautiful #flowers.

At present they are young and tender, when fully grown, they turn dark green and little thick and velvety to touch and feel and are just right to be plucked for home #kitchen.

So we have two different Curry plants, one grown in the pot and other one just next to it in the garden.
The one in the pot have little purple tone leaves, initially which turn green much later. But they too look beautiful. Such is the nature. Vivid variety.

The leaves also release such marvelous aroma and great flavor while #cooking.

This one plant at the base has two branches/stems growing beautifully into two full Curry plants with lush green leaves. Moment of joy.

At the moment its weak and standing with some support, hopefully in the future it will grow big, thick and tall, possibly without any support when its own trunk fully grows up. I am waiting for that moment to arrive soon.

You have a lot of photos very similar, which can make the post a bit monotonous. It would be better to have fewer different photos than lots the same. A lovely post otherwise.
