The importance of correctly understanding nature.

Hello hivians. How are you spending the week? I hope it's ok. For my calmer part, it seems that the flu epidemic has begun to diminish and the children scare me less. Although they don't give me much, they are two strong boys.

Today I wanted to talk to you about a topic that can be controversial, environmentalism. I am a nature lover, it is something that my grandfather instilled in me when I was little. Of course I try to transmit these values of respect and love for nature to my children.
But in recent years I have seen with concern a way of understanding nature in society, promoted by environmental groups, that lacks reality.

There are several things that seem to be confused. The earth will not disappear because of humans nor will life on it. No matter what we do that won't happen. We can disappear and millions of species can disappear, leaving room for the appearance of millions of other species as happened in the past, but the planet will not disappear.
There are people who do not seem to understand how natural a planet full of volcanoes with a brutal climate in which only bacteria can live is than a paradise with a temperate climate full of superior animals.
Hence the confusion of ensuring that one wants to protect nature when what one intends is to have the best conditions for human survival, or rather comfort.

This won't happen either. No matter what we humans do, the climate will change, the continents will move and the conditions of life on the planet will always be changing. We cannot install air conditioning on the planet so it would be better if instead of spending all day blaming each other we did the same thing that all living beings have done throughout history. Adapt.
