It's not something that surprised me because he is always picking up stones from the field that he likes and keeps them so you could say that he already collects them.

But apparently piling up stones is not enough for her and she has noticed that his mother has a small collection from when she was a child and she wants something similar. So I'm going to help you because I believe that encouraging your hobbies is a positive thing and collecting things, in addition to being entertaining, helps you value everything that surrounds you. It will also help you get to know your environment and I hope it will help you develop an effective study method.

The first thing you have to learn is to know your tastes because you can't make a collection of everything, that's just hoarding. So you should look for a topic that you are passionate about and that is accessible to you.
Then you need a team for your searches. A safety team is a priority; helmet, glasses and gloves. A work team; hammer, chisels, a sieve, spatula and some brushes.
Of course you will also need a field guide to identify what you find. And a display for your findings, although the latter will depend on your expertise and will be in your room.

We'll see if this hobby lasts in him and he stops chasing animals everywhere and bringing them home.
