Glass as art and the illusion of light.

Hello hivians, how are you today? I hope that very good. I am a big fan of art in general but there is an art of glass that fascinates me. I have already mentioned on other occasions that I have a good glass collection at home since my family works in this industry.

When I was little I didn't give it much importance, I liked the pieces but I also got into more than one fight because I broke more than one. If she was a very naughty girl, I won't deny it.

So now I try with more or less success to get my children to appreciate this art. And I also make it harder for them to break them than they made it for me. And the house where I grew up was very small and there were many of us. Although children are very naughty, they do not usually break many things and they greatly appreciate these works of art for their young age.

One of the things they like me to do the most is give them explanations about the stained glass windows when we go to see monuments, usually religious but also libraries or similar. This is one of the best known glass arts. Children love the explanations about how the artist thought about how the light would hit the glass and the effect that would have on the atmosphere of the place.
And of course there are those who bring out their mischievous side and start playing with light as if it were the best toy in the world.
