The healing power of nature: an unforgettable camping experience.
That there is an Outdoors and more community! Today I bring you this incredible outdoor excursion that I did with my wife and friends.
It all started in Las Terrazas, Artemisa Cuba; which is a community well known for its outdoor activities and the natural beauty that surrounds it. It is the ideal place for those who are looking for an escape from urban life and want to connect with nature.
My experience on the trip was magical. From the first moment, I was amazed by the natural beauty that surrounded me. The walk to the camping place was impressive, bordering lakes and admiring the panoramic views of the mountain and the lush vegetation that covered the landscape.
I’ve never seen anything so spectacular. Every step I took, I felt more connected to nature and more grateful for the opportunity to be there.

Everything I saw was beautiful, no matter how small it was. Everything had an unparalleled beauty that made me feel in peace and harmony with the environment. I took my time to appreciate every detail, to breathe deeply and enjoy nature in all its splendor.

Once we arrived at the camping place, I was surprised by the tranquility and beauty of the nearby river. We decided to explore the surroundings and discovered a small waterfall that fell into the river. The sound of the water and the rocks left me amazed. I approached the waterfall and felt the breeze emanating from the force of the water.
After exploring the waterfall, we decided to take a dip in the river. The water was fresh and crystal clear, which made the bathroom even more pleasant. While my friends were having fun in the water, I took the opportunity to take some pictures. I loved capturing the beauty of the place, everyone looked so natural and relaxed in that environment, that the photos came out really beautiful. It was a fun and spontaneous moment that allowed us to connect even more with the place and with each other.
On one of the edges of the river we found a fallen trunk that seemed perfect for some jumps into the water. We took it and took it to a place a little higher so we could do some acrobatics.
I was the first to jump, I made a jump with the bars open upwards, I picked up the body when I reached the top, and I put myself in a clapping position to break the water, then one of my friends, doing a flip in the air before falling into the water. It was impressive to see his skill and courage.
Then we started jumping one by one, doing different acrobatics and enjoying the excitement of the moment.

The river was so virgin that as soon as we got in, the little fish began to swim around us to see what was happening. It was as if they were as surprised as we were by the human presence in their natural habitat. It was an incredible experience, to feel their curiosity and see them swim so close to us. Some even gave us small bites that felt like a massage.
We were also able to see a lizard of about 15 cm in size more or less, with an appearance very similar to that of an alligator, it stood on the edge of a mini waterfall to fish, I could not capture it at the time of the act but it was incredible to see such a thing.
I was amazed by the beauty and purity of the place, and I felt fortunate to be there to witness it. It was a reminder that nature is wise and beautiful, and that we must do everything possible to protect and preserve it.

After enjoying the river, we went to the tents to prepare the fire and cook dinner. We make sure to clean the area well before starting the fire and take all the necessary measures to avoid any type of fire. It was important for us to be responsible and aware of our impact on the environment.
Once everything was ready, we started cooking dinner around the fire. It was a pleasant moment, sharing stories and laughter while we enjoyed a delicious meal outdoors and under the stars.
After dinner, we stayed a while longer around the fire, enjoying the warmth and tranquility of the moment. It was as if time had stopped and only we and nature existed.

After the spectacle of the fire at night and the mysteries, we went to sleep under a starry sky and full of life. It was a magical moment, listen to the sounds of nature and enjoy the calm of the place.
The next day, when we woke up, we found a beautiful sunrise that said goodbye to our incredible experience of outdoor camping away from the city and its noises. It was as if nature wanted to say goodbye to us in the best possible way, with a spectacle of light and color that filled our hearts with joy and gratitude.
We take a moment to enjoy the sunrise, to take a deep breath and feel the energy of the new day. After that, we started to dismantle the tents, pick up the place and pack our things to return home.

It was difficult to say goodbye to that place and the experiences we lived there, but we knew that we would always have those moments in our hearts and in our memories. It was an unforgettable experience that allowed us to reconnect with nature and with ourselves.
