The First Walk To The River This Year
Greetings, friends.
The first dog walk to the river took place today. A real spring has come to our region. And if last Sunday the thermometer showed -20, then this week it has already risen to +10 degrees. During the day, snow melts in the fields, and at night it freezes and forms a strong ice crust on which you can walk confidently. But such a solid surface has not yet been made, so I walked along the roads that are made by snowmobiles. The most important thing is not to step off it to the side, otherwise you can fall through the waist.

Most of the winter, I walked my dog along the road, keeping it on a leash, because people walking along the road are afraid of the sight of my dog, saying that it is big. Now I let the dog go for a free walk; he can choose the direction of the walk himself, but at the forks of the roads, he waits for me and looks at me to understand which way I am heading. I'm going to take the right road now.

As a matter of fact, I went to the river today because when I woke up at 6 a.m. I saw fog in the valley by the river and decided to take a walk in it.
But while I was getting ready, the fog ran away, but I saw that it was still there across the river.

Wow, there's a skier riding on the river! It seemed very strange to me. Skiers usually travel on roads made by snowmobiles. The snow can be uneven on the river, but apparently, a lot of snow has made its own changes this year to choose a place to ski.
Last year, there was an abnormally warm and snowless winter, and therefore, on March 23, there was no ice on the river. Ice usually does not start moving on our river until April 15th.

The skier is moving on the river, and I have a beautiful, dense road along the river. I must admit that I fell into the snow once because I went off the road to the side. I decided to take a closer look at the frozen pine branches. I won't tell you how I got out of the snow; I looked like a big dog.

Что происходит?
It turns out that the fog is behind me. I came from the fog, not the other way around. How did it happen?

I didn't get carried away with the hike any further and told the dog - Let's go back, let's go back into the fog! I returned to the fork in the road and took another road. I took the dog on a leash beforehand, because people can walk along this road.

I found the fog! I tried to go downstairs and get on the path leading across the river, but... To get to the path, I need to stand on the snow, but I fell into the snow again and there was water under it. But I saw that there was a hard trail made by snowmobiles, so I went back to the road.

I did it! More precisely, we did it together.

I saw two people walking with a small dog. Now they will walk ahead of me, so I took my dog on a leash and headed towards the house.
Friends, goodbye! Until the next walk.

What a lovely walk well from the photos spring seems so far by the way wonderful photos ❤️
🙏🙏🙏 thank you 🙏🙏🙏 very much
What an incredible temperature swing! From -20°C to +10°C in just one week is a big change. It’s wonderful that you and your dog could finally enjoy a walk off the leash. There is nothing like that first "spring" feeling when the ice crust starts to form on the snow.
