Making my own tubes

In a recent post I shared my first tube I got when I ordered 20 St.helen angel coins, that gave me an idea why not make my own, I have a bunch of coins and rounds many in capsules so I figured why not make a tube that would fit the capsules, so a few minutes of measuring and designing the tube, and about an hour and a half to print. I loaded my rounds and coins in and ended up printing some more to store all my coins, I made a few different sizes I got one that can store coins and rounds without capsules and I also made a small one to house my 2 oz coins/rounds.

Unfortunately all 4 of my printers are not working very well and I am considering selling them for cheap and buying one reliable machine.

That is all for today's post thanks for stopping by your support is truly appreciated.

Very cool. They do sell tubes to put your air-tite coins and rounds in.

Yeah I know but my capsules sizes vary quite a bit so I figured I make my own that can fit a variety of sizes

I thought it'd be easier just to buy storage tubes for my junk silver coins.
At least I get the Maple leaf tubes free from my LCS when I ask nice.
What else do you make with your 3D machine?

Yeah can probably buy some but my capsules are all over the place size wise so I figured just make my own , I print all sort of stuff , I got some things I printed to make my own rounds , I'm going to start out with bismuth due to its low melting point and relative price but eventually I hope to make them put of silver

These look really nice, and you can print them in all the colors for each type (Maples, Eagles, and so on), great use of your 3D printer :)
