Analog dreams

In these virtual and digital times, analog dreams still exist. Jade is a nostalgic young woman, she remembers analog antiquity. She dreams of those black and white negatives that were used in old analog cameras.
She plays with the image of herself reflected in a battered mirror. She plays with an old found negative, with the latent image of her that she places in front of her eyes. Will she be able to see the reality trapped in that negative? What does Jade see? What mystery do those negatives hide?

En estos tiempos virtuales y digitales, todavía existen sueños analógicos. Jade es una jovén nostálgica, rememora la antigüedad analógica. Sueña con con aquellos negativos blanco y negro que se usaban en las viejas cámaras fotográficas analógicas.
Juega con su imagen reflejada en un espejo maltratado. Juguetea con viejo negativo encontrado, con su imagen latente que interpone frente a sus ojos. Podrá ver la realidad atrapada en ese negativo? Que será lo que ve Jade? Que misterio esconden esos negativos?

This is an essay carried out with digital technology, with digital cameras and then edited on the computer. But trying to emulate the old analog techniques, adding dirt, imperfections, light leaks.

Este es un ensayo realizado con la tecnología digital, con cámaras digitales y luego editadas en el ordenador. Pero tratando de emular las viejas tecnicas analógicas, añadiendo suciedades, imperfecciones, fugas de luz.
