All I had to do was sit quietly in my backyard and start paying attention to the details.

Para esto solo bastó sentarme tranquilo en el patio de la casa y comenzar a prestar atención a los detalles.

The shapes, the textures, the light that falls and breaks up the shadows.

Las formas, las texturas, la luz que incide y rompe las sombras.

And when I find something that captivates me, that’s when I stop and reflect.

Y cuando encuentro algo que me cautiva, entonces allí me detengo y medito.

I stay that way for a while, take a deep breath, and carry on.

Así estoy por un tiempo, respiro hondo y continúo.

In the end, it’s a meditation exercise; plus, it lets me practice photography in low-light conditions and learn from it.

Al final, es un ejercicio de meditación; además, me deja practicar la fotografía en condiciones de poca luz y así aprender de ella.
