Wandering the streets of Kolkata

This tree is grown on the middle of the road. It was dense before, but now its leaves have fallen. Despite facing many cyclones, the tree has been standing here for years.

You can see the wonderful shadows of the tree on the road.

There are many small and big restaurants in the Kolkata. I found this one while wandering on 6th February, 2026. Sitting Tables are installed on the pavement for customers. Small bulbs are also installed above the sitting place which creates picturesque. You can see in the above image. However, I took the photo in the daytime, yet it was looking awesome with illuminated bulb. Then you imagine how beautiful this place looks in the night.

This place is known as Lake Kalibari because of the Goddess Kali temple that you can see in the photo. People come here and worship the Goddess. If I had taken photos inside the temple you would have seen the idol of Goddess Kali.

Last but not the least, I saw a new Shivalinga and a beautiful Nandi were set up there. I took the photo from outside its boundary.
