"Streets, as I see it" is a publication which I started with a purely photographic intention. In fact, I was planning to build a discreet post, concise in words and with several images which would simply give you in #Hive a new vision of my particular way of looking at my streets (and I say "my streets" because I walk them every day and I have been linked to them all my life)... But, as it always happens, I started to make the post, at the same time I started to wander mentally as if I was wandering through my streets, absorbed, almost delirious and with a thousand thoughts flying in my head, then I started to write...

"Calles, como yo las veo" es una publicación la cual comencé a hacer con una intención puramente fotográfica. De hecho, pensaba construir un post discreto, escueto en palabras y con diversas imágenes las cuales simplemente brindaran a ustedes en #Hive una nueva visión de mi manera particular de mirar mis calles (y digo "mis calles" porque las recorro a diario y he estado toda mi vida ligado a ellas)... Pero, tal y como siempre sucede, comencé a hacer al post, al mismo tiempo comencé a divagar mentalmente tal y como si deambulara por mis calles, absorto, casi delirante y con mil pensamientos volando en mi cabeza, entonces comencé a escribir...

Obviously, today I'm in a cavernous, grey and complex mood... I tend to have this kind of oscillations in my character. This is partly due to my natural way of being and of deepening my one-sided evaluation of what is going on around me. But it's also related to the fact that I was triggered by a bout of fibromyalgia, a condition which has affected me since my mid 30's. So in a way, today I can be classified as an "unpredictable opinionator affected by bad temper and other things" nestled comfortably in a lovely #web3 corner called #hive... (Ok, I'm starting to sound strange, this is where it occurs to me that maybe some of you might prefer to appreciate my street photos but not read my "written catharsis" which can look torturous some times)... :))

Obviamente, hoy estoy de un humor cavernoso, gris, complejo... Suelo tener este tipo de oscilaciones en mi carácter. Esto en parte se debe a mi natural manera de ser y de profundizar evaluando de manera unilateral lo que sucede en mi entorno. Pero también tiene relación con el hecho de algún disparo de una crisis de fibromialgia, condición la cual me afecta desde de mediados de mis 30. Así que de alguna manera, hoy puedo ser clasificado como un "impredecible opinador afectado por su mál carácter y otras cosas" arrellanado cómodamente en un adorable rincón #web3 llamado #hive... (Ok, estoy comenzando a sonar extraño, aquí es donde se me ocurres que quizás algunos de ustedes preferirán apreciar mis fotos de calle pero no leer mi "catarsis escrita" la cual puede lucir tortuosa una que otra vez)... :))

And by the way, talking about #Hive, I have to confess that now that I'm on the verge of my second birthday being here in this lovely ecosystem, I still feel excellent and like sharing my content here (which I used to do in #web2, where I wasn't rewarded for it nor had so many like-minded people around to talk about what we do here).... Also, slowly (because I'm slow for many things, more because I don't want to learn than because I have some kind of difficulty to assimilate knowledge) I've been realizing how many things there are in #Hive that I don't know. I'm talking about applications, services, games, financial and related tools... I entered here as a crazy person with "photographer's infulas" wanting to share my photos, receive opinions, look at the content of others and also (of course) receive some tokens which provide me with enough earnings to pay for my internet services (I have two providers, because in Venezuela you have to have at least two ISPs to not die of a heart attack due to isolation)... And in fact I'm still more or less the same here in #Hive, although I have to confess that my ability and pleasure for writing multiplied to the maximum here, because there is a kind of "sense of freedom" which I didn't have in the #web2... However, learning about those other "big spaces" in #Hive has been interesting for me, very interesting indeed. So perhaps my third year at #Hive will be the one to make my first steps in that direction. I can't forget that I'm a retired IT professional, so "some burning ember" must be left in my brain that will allow me to explore that lovely world that #Hive has beyond where I am now. Hopefully the future of our blockchain will be one of pure and frank growth, it's a good place to be and evolve.

Y por cierto, hablando acerca de #Hive, tengo que confesar que ahora que estoy a las puertas de mi segundo cumpleaños estando aquí en este encantador ecosistema, sigo sintiéndome excelente y gustando de compartir mi contenido aquí (cosa la cual antes hacía en #web2, en donde ni era recompensando por ello ni tenía tanta gente afín alrededor para poder departir acerca de lo que aquí hacemos)... También, lentamente (pues soy lento para muchas cosas, más por no proponerme aprender que por tener algún tipo de dificultad para asimilar conocimiento)he ido percatándome de cuantas cosas hay en #Hive que no conozco. Me refiero a aplicaciones, servicios, juegos, herramientas financieras y afines... Entré aquí como un loco con "infulas de fotógrafo" queriendo compartir mis fotos, recibir opiniones, mirar el contenido de otros y también (por supuesto) recibir algunos tokens los cuales me proporcional ganancias suficientes para pagar mis servicios de internet (tengo dos proveedoes, pues en Venezuela hay que tener cuando menos dos ISP para no morir de un infarto por aislamiento)... Y de hecho sigo siendo más o menos lo mismo aquí en #Hive, aunque tengo que confesar que mi habilidad y placer por la escritura se multiplicó al máximo aquí, pues hay un tipo de "sensación de libertad" el cual no tenía en la #web2... Sin embargo, el haber aprendido sobre esos otros "grandes espacios" de #Hive se me ha hecho interesante, muy interesante de hecho. Así que quizás mi tercer año en #Hive sea el de hacer mis primeros avances en ese sentido. No puedo olvidar que soy un profesional IT retirado,así que "alguna brasa ardiendo" debe quedar en mi cerebro que me permita explorar ese mundo encantador que tiene #Hive más allá de donde estoy ahora. Ojalá el futuro de nuestra blockchain sean de crecimiento puro y franco, es un un buen lugar para estar y evolucionar.

Have you seen how crazy I can be...? I started this post saying I was in one hell of a mood and a few lines down I was telling you how happy I am to be in #Hive and what my intentions are for my third year.... Boy, am I a strange guy to write, I won't deny it!.... Well, the truth is that it has served as a catharsis for me and I'm in a better mood right now... Writing is much better than taking antidepressants! (At least for me it works quite well)...

¿Han visto cuan loco puedo estar?... Comencé este post diciendo que estaba de un humor infernal y apocas lineas más abajo estaba contándoles lo contento que estoy de estar en #Hive y cuales son mis intenciones para mi tercer año... ¡Vaya que si soy un tipo extraño escribiendo, no lo voy a negar!... Bueno, lo cierto es que me ha servido de catarsis y en estos momentos me siento de mejor humor... ¡Escribir es mucho mejor que tomar antidepresivos! (Cuando menos a mi me sirve bastante bien)...

I'll end this post by telling you that I was thinking: "In case reincarnation exists, I'm pretty sure I'll be reincarnated in one of those strange cities in Siberia where temperatures drop to 40°C and can only be reached by huge planes or ice-breaking ships"... Why did that come to my mind?... I have no idea!... But evidently it was something I had to write in this post! :))

Terminaré este post contándoles que estuve pensando que: "En caso de que exista le reencarnación, estoy prácticamente seguro de que reencarnaré en una de esas extrañas ciudades en Siberia donde las temperaturas descienden a 40°C y solo se llega en enormes aviones o con barcos rompehielos"... ¿Que porqué se me vino a la mente eso?... ¡No tengo la menor idea!... ¡Pero evidentemente era algo que tenía que escribir en este post! :))
